About ten days ago, as I was returning from leading a Woaching day, I was singing in my car. I felt joyful, enchanted, full of energy✨

Today, I sit down to write, to relive the highlights of that day. To put into words what happened inside me. To share what they teach me.

The six people in the group I'm supporting in Woaching that day have taken a day off from work to take a breather from their busy, demanding, and all-consuming lives. To recharge their batteries and gain perspective. They need it so much.

When I wake up that same day, I feel the familiar little ball deep inside me which is the sign of maximum concentration, of attention to all the little details which will allow me to honor these people who have trusted me, the promise of an experience of replenishing their body, their mind, their heart, their soul even perhaps.

As I'm having breakfast, I'm going over in my head the 12km route I mapped out a few days ago. Possible stopping points for group work and note-taking. Areas for walking alone, for introspection, or in pairs for listening and sharing. And also the tricky or slippery sections where I'll have to be careful to guide them safely.

Especially since the weather is uncertain, and I just received a text message at 7 a.m. from a participant: "It's raining, what do we do?" During a day of group walking, rain can contribute to group cohesion and connection with nature. I've experienced this often. So I replied: "I'll be at the start as agreed. Do as you feel."

In the car, I go over in my head all the roles I'll have to play today. To keep my promise to everyone.

The role of organizer of time and small decisions to be made during the walk and unforeseen events related to the participants, the route, the weather, etc.

The role of the Woaching methodology guide. Be clear and give meaning to the approach, share tools to help you think about the day's theme, so that everyone can participate with confidence.

And the role of guardian of the framework and goodwill within the group. In order to create the trust that allows everyone to express themselves. As soon as I arrive on site, as soon as I make contact with the first participants, I feel completely present, attentive.

From the briefing, I feel the "magic" begin to work with the group forming. The weather, which fluctuates between calm and light showers, plays its role as a catalyst for cohesion. I then focus my attention completely on the roles I must fulfill, on the process I must lead. I am like a fish in water.

Everyone expresses themselves in their own way, trust is born, the first realizations are shared. Then I feel a sense of wonder.

The wonder of seeing the alchemy at work that, in Woaching, combines walking, nature, and the group. Then a second space opens up for each of us, one of listening and self-understanding. A space from which we often draw beyond our expectations.

I feel like a fish in water. Everything flows together as if by magic. The final collective intelligence exercise is magnificent, confirmed by the participants' feedback. And we arrive at the parking lot on time!

Some call it "flow." I call it wonder.

It's the result of the oft-repeated accomplishment of a demanding endeavor that I deeply cherish. It nourishes me every time, as much as it does the participants. It gives me the joy and energy to prepare for the next outing with the same heart.

I hope you also find moments of wonder in your work 🌻
