Focus on the "Respiration" Program

Half a day of Woaching on the theme of CREATIVITY

The "Respiration" program is a series of 6 half-days (Friday morning) of Woaching over the year. On a different walking route each time, around Grenoble. Intended for working professionals, these half-days provide them with a space for rejuvenation , meetings and sharing , and finally theoretical insight into a professional theme. Here, seen from the inside, is what the participants in this program experienced during the half-day devoted to the theme of Creativity . 8:15 a.m.: the four participants, from 4 different companies, meet at the starting point near Vif. Some took the day off. Others will go to work in the afternoon, some teleworking. After a coffee, and a short presentation, a little exercise consisting of “putting in the locker room” the concerns that everyone wishes to let go of this morning. A first relief. Then for twenty-five minutes, we walk in silence so that everyone connects with nature and the environment through all their senses. Resourcing. Sharing feelings helps to create connections and listening in the small group. On the edge of the magnificent Lac Noiret. A first workshop on the theme of Creativity consists of discussing in pairs, while walking, their lived experiences of creativity, and their contribution to these experiences.

Then a “Compass” (theoretical contribution) is shared, proposing to consider Creativity as a four-phase process. Each phase requiring a particular skill.

On this basis, a second workshop, walking in pairs, leads each participant to observe themselves during the process at work in their creativity experiences. And thus to become aware of his strengths, and his gray areas, of the phases that he may be led to forget. And thus to glimpse new approaches calling on other people with complementary skills. With a view to very concrete situations to come. An enlightening phase for everyone. All this accompanied by time for taking notes of ideas, reflections, next small steps, etc... sitting in open-air "meeting rooms", in the morning breeze, the singing of birds and the gentleness spring sunshine. To conclude, I would like to share the comment of a participant, upon returning to the parking lot at 12:30 p.m.: "This morning, I arrived stressed by everything I have to do at the office, wondering what I was doing there. There, now, I feel refreshed by the sun, by the encounters and I have combined business with pleasure by enriching myself on the theme of Creativity, by realizing the shortcuts that I sometimes take and. which I can avoid now.” Next release, May 3. On the theme of "balance in the relationships between Giving, Receiving, Asking and Returning". Francois Thouret
